Launching a new company can be a lot of work. You have to rise above the noise and beat out the competition. Through a targeted communications campaign, we achieved media coverage to reach the target audience, discovered key cross-promotional opportunities and created a strong launch on social media, generating great traction for a new brand.
Tremblant Living came to us with a problem – they had earned an impressive reputation through word-of-mouth, but they were unsure of how to tap into new markets. That’s where we come in. Through our grassroots method, we secured them mass media coverage, exposing their brand to several different target audiences in leading publications from coast to coast.
Engaging a strong following from members and key stakeholders can be a daunting task for a new and growing organization. We helped the Kanata North BIA rally support from the community with media outreach and a newly introduced interactive digital magazine, aiding in the formulation of a strategic editorial direction and the monthly curation and development of editorial content.
Industry is constantly changing. Staying on top of such changes, and responding to them in a timely and informed manner, is crucial for any advocacy campaign. Our unique monitoring and reporting system helped members proactively communicate with key decision-makers, and fuel change on behalf of the petroleum industry.

It’s no surprise that in the journalism community, it’s normal for writers to do everything they can to circumvent press people – they’re usually seen as unhelpful, misleading, and uncaring. Fortunately, the team at Syntax Strategic are an exception to the rule. The team is knowledgeable on the topic they’ve written the press releases on, helpful in sourcing interviews, courteous, professional, and quick. Syntax is truly among the very few media teams that prove a media team can be helpful to their clients and journalists, and effectively get a client’s message out to the right audience.
I have had the great pleasure of working with Jennifer and her team over the last year on a number of projects. Their ability to capture a story, and the precision with which they tell it, never ceases to amaze me. Working with them has been a great pleasure – from meeting to discuss story ideas, to the efficiency in which they produce the required material. They have become a very valuable extension to our organization.
Syntax Strategic is a team of outstanding professionals. They have drive, passion and talent, and have always shown commitment and a clear orientation to results with their clients. Jennifer has built a great team and Tremblant Living is very proud to have Syntax Strategic as a PR consultant – the results have been spectacular.
I have had the opportunity to work with Jennifer on a number of projects. From writing, press releases and media relations to proposals and social networking. She is wonderfully confident and extremely competent. Jennifer has demonstrated a solid and diverse communications background and has continuously shown exceptional media relation skills. She is reliable and efficient, creative and forward-thinking. I would highly recommend Jennifer for writing, event and project management, communication requirements, and media relations! She also happens to be tall and beautiful as well as a dedicated mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and co-worker! You would never be disappointed working with Jennifer Stewart!
Jen Stewart is a very competent, creative and committed communications professional. In working with Equal Voice, she has been both quick and versatile. Further, she is able to quickly grasp and discern the key messages we need to disseminate and has been able to effectively communicate those messages. We would heartily recommend her.
Syntax Strategic is the best PR firm I have ever worked with. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty every step of the way. Out of all of our 6 Canadian show towns, no other PR firm works harder and more efficiently. I would not imagine running an event campaign without them on my side.
It was a real pleasure working with the professionals at Syntax Strategic in getting word out on Axis Ottawa 2014 and 2015. We were limited in time and budget and they came through all the way. Lots of excellent media coverage, including television and radio spots, and several print articles. I recommend Jennifer and the rest of the Syntax team and plan to work with them again in the future.
Jennifer is, quite simply, one of the most organized and task-focused individuals whom I have ever had the privilege to work with. She has a laser-like commitment to meeting deliverables and a seemingly endless reserve of energy with which to produce them. On top of all of this, Jennifer is a top-notch writer and a gifted communicator. She produces great content and has the skill, know-how, and connections to be able to get it published. She’s got excellent relationships with Canadian media and has an assured presence for clients. Jennifer is quite simply one of the most dynamic Canadian communicators around.
We would highly recommend Jennifer Stewart and Syntax Strategic for anyone who wants an effective and powerful PR strategy for their event or business. Jennifer has demonstrated that she can produce results, booking us on several news, tv and radio segments soon after her press release was sent out. In our opinion, her media contacts, persistent attitude and confidence are all crucial ingredients for a top-tiered PR firm.
