Syntax Strategic set to host Gift of Communications for United Way Ottawa

OTTAWA, ON— Today, Syntax Strategic executives will be hosting a complimentary media training seminar for United Way Ottawa employees; Communications 101 in the Digital Age.

“Communications plays an essential role in helping non-profit organizations achieve their mission and connect with their stakeholders, including donors, beneficiaries, volunteers, and politicians. We are proud to give back to the community through Gift of Communications and share resources with such a vital organization in our city,” said Jennifer Stewart, President and CEO, Syntax Strategic.

As part of the seminar, participants will receive one-on-one media training with Syntax Strategic’s Senior Director of Media Relations, Jennifer Madigan. As a former executive producer for Global and CTV, Madigan understand what it takes to shape a great story, and how to navigate some of the media’s most difficult questions.

“Interviews can be daunting even for the most seasoned media professionals,” said Madigan. “We will help the team at the United Way learn to properly plan and prepare for interviews to decrease the stress going in, and keep messaging on-track.”

Other seminar topics include content marketing, social media management, and crisis communications.
