Challenge
Pauktuutit is the national representative organization of Inuit women in Canada, and its communications team required support to help meet the organization’s goals of fostering greater awareness of the needs of Inuit women, advocating for equality and social improvements, and encouraging Inuit women’s full participation in the community, regional, and national life of Canada.
Our Role
Syntax helped Pauktuutit expand its communications capacity through graphic design, speech writing, social media, news releases, media relations, and events planning and execution. We developed the organization’s first-ever graphic design brand standard, stylebook, and design templates, as well as infographics in both English and Inuktitut, and supported the successful launch of numerous projects. We also provided training and support to permanent staff to ensure shared best practices and continuity of knowledge.
Impact
Pauktuutit’s profile has increased exponentially, with dozens of earned national media hits as well as paid social media placements whose results have exceeded industry standards.
