Challenge
The Kanata North Business Association and its partners wanted to create a first-class, high-profile hybrid event for the official grand opening of Hub350, a central gathering space and innovation centre which serves as the gateway to Canada’s largest technology park, an event which would feature an in-person announcement by Ontario Premier Doug Ford and senior-ranking provincial cabinet members.
Our Role
Syntax coordinated and executed all logistics for the two-day event from start to finish, including media outreach, graphic, content, sign and web design, onsite event management, scripting and speaking notes, AV coordination, cocktail receptions, and round-table events, incorporating all special requirements for the Premier’s visit, speech, and media availability.
Impact
The event generated broad coverage in Ottawa and across Ontario, including business and industry publications and on social media, helping to establish brand recognition for Hub350 as an important ecosystem for industry, academia, and finance partners to collaborate in the Nation’s Capital.
